For a severe injury, uncontrolled bleeding, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or facial swelling that is spreading rapidly, seek emergency medical care right away.

Tooth pain or a toothache
Persistent or worsening pain deserves a look, not a wait-and-see.
Chipped or broken tooth
Save any pieces if you can and call the office for guidance.
Lost filling or crown
An exposed tooth can become sensitive quickly and may need protection.
Swelling or pressure
Swelling around a tooth or in the gums should be evaluated.
Injury to a tooth
After a fall or knock — including with children — call and describe what happened.
